This whale watching trip in Washington State offered an incredible range of wildlife. We saw humpbacks surfacing nearby, the quick movements of minke whales, and bald eagles scanning the water from above. Seals and other marine life added to the activity all around us, making every turn feel like a new discovery.
The highlight came at the end, when orcas appeared and brought the trip to a close in the most memorable way possible. These photos share a look at the variety of animals we encountered and the experience of seeing them in their natural environment.
